How an entrepreneur, philanthropist and creator is turning goodness, beauty and wellness into a new kind of influence
In an era when influence is often measured in views, followers and algorithms, Krystyna Laukien is interested in a different kind of currency: impact.
Entrepreneur, philanthropist, creator and Founder & CEO of MGKL Spa, Laukien has built her world around an idea that sounds deceptively simple — that beauty, success and influence become more meaningful when they are connected to intention.
Her philosophy can be distilled into three words: goodness, kindness and love. They have shaped the way she approaches business, philanthropy and her increasingly visible personal platform — and now form the foundation of MGKL, the beauty and wellness universe she is bringing to life.
For Laukien, however, becoming a creator was never the original plan.
“I believe we are all creators — not only of content, but of our own lives,” she says.
Long before social media became part of her world, she was fascinated by personal growth, spirituality, inner and outer beauty, and the question of what it means to live intentionally. Sharing that journey publicly came later — not from a desire to become an influencer, but from the belief that an experience, lesson or discovery from her own life might help someone else create a more meaningful one. A Decision That Began Long Before Social Media
One of the most defining chapters in Laukien’s story began in childhood.
During a period of financial hardship for her family, she came to an understanding that would ultimately influence much of her adult life: external circumstances may change, but they do not have to determine our capacity for happiness, love or generosity.
She remembers making a decision: choose happiness regardless of circumstances — and become the creator of her own experience of life.
Over time, that belief evolved into action. Philanthropy became an important part of her life, eventually leading her to co-found the Power of Goodness Foundation, supporting children, Ukrainian families and others in need. Interview Questionaire .pdf
It also influenced the way she began thinking about business.
Rather than seeing commercial success and purpose as opposing forces, Laukien became interested in what could happen when the two were intentionally connected.
Today, MGKL represents the newest expression of that philosophy.
Beauty With Purpose
Laukien’s primary entrepreneurial focus in 2026 is the launch of MGKL Spa in Miami, alongside the development of the MGKL Body Care line.
The concept brings together advanced beauty and wellness modalities, intentional rituals and sensory experiences, with the goal of creating something more meaningful than a conventional beauty appointment.
It is designed as a space to temporarily disconnect from the intensity of everyday life, restore physically and energetically, and reconnect with oneself. The upcoming body-care collection is intended to carry elements of that experience into everyday rituals at home. Interview Questionaire .pdf
For Laukien, the idea is deeply personal.
Modern life rewards constant output. We work, build, communicate, create and give our attention outward almost continuously. Her own ability to function under pressure taught her determination — but also eventually taught her the importance of restoration.
“Strength is not only knowing when to push — it is knowing when to restore yourself,” she explains.
That realization became integral to the philosophy behind MGKL Spa: sometimes even one hour intentionally devoted to yourself can change how you experience everything that follows. Interview Questionaire .pdf
Living First, Sharing Second
That same intentionality shapes Laukien’s approach to social media.
She does not view her life as something constructed for content. Instead, her philosophy is almost the reverse: live first, share second.
Her content moves naturally between fashion, art, travel, wellness, spirituality, entrepreneurship and personal reflection. She is less interested in fitting into a perfectly defined category than in documenting the world through her own perspective.
Before sharing something, she considers what it gives the person on the other side of the screen: beauty, knowledge, curiosity, encouragement, inspiration or perhaps simply a different way of seeing something.
It is a philosophy that runs counter to an industry increasingly driven by formulas.
For Laukien, authenticity is the strategy.
“The most meaningful content comes from living first and sharing second, rather than creating a life for the purpose of content.” Interview Questionaire .pdf
Influence Is Changing
That perspective also shapes how Laukien sees the future of the creator economy.
AI is rapidly making sophisticated content easier and faster to produce. Beautiful imagery and polished video, once powerful differentiators, are becoming accessible to almost everyone.
Laukien believes that makes the human element more valuable, not less.
Individual perspective. Intuition. Experience. Emotion. Trust.
The creators who thrive in the next era, she believes, will not simply be those who master new technology. They will be the ones capable of using it without allowing technology to replace what makes their voice unmistakably their own. Interview Questionaire .pdf
And she sees another transformation underway.
The traditional definition of “influencer” is expanding. Creators are becoming founders, educators, community builders and owners of products and intellectual property.
In that sense, Laukien’s own evolution reflects the larger evolution of the industry: from creating content to creating something beyond the content itself.
The Courage to Be Imperfect
Interestingly, one of Laukien’s earliest challenges as a creator was perfectionism.
Detail-oriented by nature, she had to learn to allow herself to become visible before everything felt completely ready.
English is not her first language. She did not consider herself a perfect speaker. Sharing personal experiences publicly also meant accepting the possibility of judgment or misunderstanding.
But she eventually reached a conclusion that many aspiring creators struggle to embrace:
Imperfect expression was better than remaining silent.
The reward came when people began telling her that something she had shared had affected them or arrived precisely when they needed to hear it.
Sometimes, Laukien realized, the thing that feels most vulnerable to share is exactly what another person needs to receive. Interview Questionaire .pdf
Evolving. Intentional. Giving.
Asked to describe her personal brand in three words, Laukien chooses:
Evolving. Intentional. Giving.
Evolving because she believes we are continuously becoming new versions of ourselves.
Intentional because consciousness and purpose guide the way she wants to live, build and make decisions.
And giving because an experience, lesson or creation becomes more meaningful to her when some part of it can contribute beyond herself. Interview Questionaire .pdf
Those words also provide a surprisingly accurate description of the business she is building.
Behind the polished exterior of MGKL is an intense attention to detail. Laukien describes spending significant time researching, comparing, testing, questioning and refining ideas — from philosophy and experience to ingredients, design and sensory details.
What eventually appears effortless, she believes, often requires enormous intention behind the scenes. Interview Questionaire .pdf
A Different Definition of Success
Perhaps the clearest insight into Laukien’s worldview comes from the way she defines success.
It is not simply wealth, visibility or reaching the next milestone.
For her, success is alignment — when who you are, what you value and the life you are creating are moving in the same direction.
It means having the freedom to grow, create, experience beauty and build meaningful businesses without making external achievement the source of inner happiness.
And importantly, she believes success should increase a person’s capacity to contribute.
The more you grow, the more you can create.
The more you can support.
The more you can give.
Ultimately, success becomes not simply about what you accumulate, but about what your growth allows you to put back into the world. Interview Questionaire .pdf
That philosophy may ultimately be the thread connecting the seemingly different parts of Krystyna Laukien’s world — beauty and spirituality, entrepreneurship and philanthropy, social media and wellness.
Her next chapter is certainly about expansion: launching MGKL, developing its product universe, growing her platform and reaching more people.
But she is careful about what “bigger” means.
For Laukien, the next level is not simply greater visibility.
It is greater capacity — to create, to give, to experience, and to transform ideas that once lived only in her heart into something tangible in the world. Interview Questionaire .pdf
And perhaps that is the most compelling definition of influence of all.
Not simply being seen — but creating something worth sharing
